Who's in the Kitchen?
CHEF BRIAN HOLMES, OWNER
Since the age of 12, Chef Brian Holmes has enjoyed the art of cooking. In his younger years, his father planted a seed of encouragement by supporting his unique talents. Brian spent many days perfecting his craft by prepping alongside his mother in the kitchen.

After his father's passing, "there's no place like home" had a deeper connection. With the zeal to learn and cook professionally, as his father suggested, Brian decided to attend culinary school. With a keen eye for presentation and crafting savory meals, he graduated at the top of his class from the Culinary Academy in Westbury, New York. Brian has also received a Certificate in Commercial Cooking.
With his favorite Italian, Southwestern, and cajun style recipes, Brian has worked in many kitchens across the east coast. He enjoys catering fine dining events, family and life celebrations, as well as corporate functions. With high demand for his unique specialties, he recently created a healthy meal prep option - available now.
In 2008, Brian registered There's No Place Like Holmes as a licensed business in New York. After moving his family to Greenville, South Carolina in 2014, he licensed the business in South Carolina (2019). Brian continues to serve both markets and beyond, providing a Holmes-cooked meal for many clients.
